
Currently serving as the Director of Programs at FOWODE, Elizabeth Ampairwe is a gender and development specialist with 15 years of experience in projects’ management and strategic advocacy including collaborative work with alliances at grassroots, national, regional and global levels. She holds a masters’ degree in Public Health Leadership (MPHL) and a BA in Social Sciences (BASS). She is very passionate about women’s rights, dynamic, results’ oriented, knowledgeable, and hardworking with excellent people management skills. She is a member of the Young Women Advisory Panel at Akina Mama wa Afrika (AMwA) where she shares her experience and mentors other young women.
